Nagpur Book Club (NBC) was founded in April 2015, by a group of passionate bibliophiles who wanted to build a free community where citizens bound by the love for reading, could get together and discuss books. NBC is a non-profit, non-subscription, free book club. We welcome members of all age groups. The only criteria to become a member is the love for books. Currently we have members from the age of 8 to 80!

Purpose
From the beginning, the aim of the book club was to promote the love for books, and to provide a free platform for book lovers in Nagpur to come together, interact with other bibliophiles, and discuss books.
From the outset, Nagpur Book Club has been running on a non-subscription, non-profit model. The only requirement to join Nagpur Book Club is a love for books! Just walk in to any of our monthly book meets, and become a member of the prestigious Nagpur Book Club.
If you are sitting on the fence, and want to start reading, come attend a book meet and listen to other readers. You will be inspired to pick up a book soon!
Over the years, Nagpur Book Club has grown into a huge community of over 450 members.

Library
As gratitude for providing a home to Nagpur Book Club, we have resurrected the dying library at India Peace Centre, and now jointly manage and run the library as IPC-NBC Free Public Library. The free library is open to all citizens, and has a huge collection of books of all genres. Read more about the IPC-NBC Library here.
Social Initiatives
Nagpur Book Club members also actively participate in many social initiatives in an effort to give back to society. We organise Blood Donation Camps, Book Donation Drives, and partner with corporates in their CSR activities.
